The Big House is the Lynchburg Fire Department's Station 1. Located at 801 Clay Street, we are the technical rescue station for the city. We house an Engine, Ladder, Medic, 2 USAR Trucks, 2 Zodiac boats and a Battalion Chief.

Thanks for checking out the Station 1 blog. Disclaimer: This website in no way portrays the views and opinions of the Lynchburg Fire Dept, it is simply a personal blog written by members of this firehouse encompassing daily station life at a firehouse here in the Hill City. We are going to try and keep this updated as possible, plenty of pictures and stuff to keep you interested.
